Dating medical resident student

I will have less time to myself and less time to do anything other than reading and school related work. I know that I have more time on my hands right now and that I will be more busy when I go back to school.I'm a little upset because he told me that in September he was going to pick me up.Now that September is almost over I am worried he will not be able to pick me up. Any significant others/spouses of med students/residents/etc. ) because I realized that Stephen's love and support was unconditional. But in case I've scared any potential future medical students, the bright side is that things do get better (well, after the first two years of medical school at least... And ultimately, being in medical school actually strengthened our relationship (we got married at the beginning of third year!I saw him last in May which was almost four months ago.

He has told me that he is going to pick me up as soon as he can. He takes the time to talk to me and cheer me up when he has the time.

I love everything about him and it is starting to get harder for me as time goes on. I'm starting to really miss him and if I could only spend an hour with him. I will be happy when I get to see him more and when he is finished with residency. Becoming a doctor is very hard and takes true dedication to the goal. Once he is established.might still be busy with his work..he'll have time to involve you more. I don't know how it feels but I do not that college can be a lot. At least I have school that will keep me busy until he is finished. I have never dated a resident doctor but I did see a documentary that depicted the life of a doctor in training and the amount of hours they are expecting to put in is ridiculous and I don’t see how one can go on like that for too long before burning out.

I think it will be hard for both of us in a relationship until he is finished. Do you think that a residency doctor could really be on their way to pick up his girlfriend and be called into work? I know I will cherish the time that we have together. I saw that the residents were sleeping and eating at the hospital and for the majority it was a second home.

Although we have had a few rough patches (nothing too serious and nothing was our fault). I don't think we will be marrying each other too soon because he is so busy. In a about a year I will be able to get my associates. I have also thought about a masters degree but I am not sure if I am going that far yet. I am on break right now but I am going back in January.

He has asked me what type of rings I would like and his best friend asked if it would be ok if he went with my boyfriend to look at rings.

I am thankful that he is finding the time to talk to me. I also understand that when he does get a day off that he has to be exhausted.
